RWLL TEAM EQUIPMENT and UNIFORMS RETURN NOTICE
When:
Saturday, June 28th, 2003
Schedule: T-BALL 9:00 – 9:30AM
SLUGGERS: 9:00 - 9:30AM
AAA: 9:30 – 10:00AM
COAST: 10:00 – 10:30AM
MAJORS: 10:30 – 11:00PM
Where:
Equipment building adjacent to Hartman Field #3
EQUIPMENT Return Information and Tips:
All equipment needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Any equipment returned dirty or wet will not be accepted. Past experience with wet equipment indicates that it will rust/mold/mildew once stored.
Jerseys and belts (belts for baseball only) must be clean, dry and on a hanger when returned. Putting a plastic bag (like the drycleaners) over your whole set would be appreciated. It will be easiest for the managers to collect all jerseys and belts after your last game and wash them yourselves.
If you are not available on this date/time, it is your responsibility to designate a substitute and to make certain that he/she brings the equipment back as requested. So long as everything is in order, your deposit check refund will be made "on-the-spot."
Please return any used and unused baseballs at that time as well. These will be used again next year.
We appreciate your cooperation and conformance with this schedule.
Here are some helpful hints on cleaning your equipment:
Equipment and Ball Bags: Empty both of equipment/balls. Clean out dirt and debris.
Batting Helmets: Clean hair and dust on inside. Clean outside to a shine ("Armorall" works great).
Catchers Masks: Clean hair and dust on inside. Clean outside, mask and pads with "Armorall".
Shin guards: Clean thoroughly to a shine using "Armorall"
Chest Protectors: Use a brush to clean and spot clean with a damp cloth only.
Bats, Bases, Tees: Scrub clean
Balls: Return all used and unused balls.
First-Aid Kits: Return all kits (no need to restock supplies).
For any questions on equipment returns, please contact the RWLL Equipment Coordinator, John Hendron at Hendrons@msn.com
UNIFORM Return Information and Tips:
Please have all jerseys clean, dry, in numerical order, and on hangers. It is preferable to cover them with something similar to what the dry cleaners do – a garbage bag will work fine.
Softball needs to return jerseys only – players keep the sleeves and visors.
Baseball needs to return jerseys AND belts, each team was issued twelve belts; again the players keep their sleeves and hats.
NOTE: All Softball and Baseball T-Ball, Sluggers and AAA keep their Jerseys and hats/visors.
For any questions on uniform returns, please contact the RWLL Uniforms Coordinator, Marbet Wythes at m.wythes@verizon.net
