Redmond West Little League Board of Directors
The success of RWLL is totally dependent on volunteerism. Its up to YOU and other volunteers to ensure that our children have a fun, successful sports experience. RWLL Board positions will be filled in the fall, but were reaching out now -- while the balls still in play -- to pique your interest at its peak.
The Board offers a number of opportunities to contribute, so you can find a position to match your interests and talents. For most positions, no experience is necessary! Most positions can be accomplished while also managing or coaching a team.
A great way to start is to attend a Board of Directors meeting which are held monthly at the Lake Washington School District Resource Center in Redmond Town Center. Check the calendar on this website for meeting dates and times. You may also complete the Board Application Form now available online. For further information, send us an an email.

The positions and a brief summary of duties are:
President represent RWLL to District and City, lead meetings, serve on committees
Vice President, Baseball oversee baseball program, serve on committees
Vice President, Softball oversee softball program, serve on committees
Vice President,
Facilities/Complex
train and schedule Complex Managers, interact
with City regarding Hartman Park issues, negotiate field use with City and
County
Vice President, Tournaments administer post-season play, coordinate with RNLL
Registrar handle player registration, assist with drafts and team formations
Treasurer maintain RWLL accounts, pay bills
Secretary take minutes at meetings, serve on committees
Baseball Player Agent
act as liaison between players/parents and coaches, compile
try-out data, manage drafts, serve on committees, run All-Star selections,
etc.
Softball Player Agent same as above
Sluggers Coordinator
handle team formations, recruit coaches, act as liaison between
players/parents and coaches, serve on committees
T-ball Coordinator same as above
Chief Scheduler determine field allocations for all levels of BB/SB, oversee assistants
Assistant Scheduler(s) assign practice fields, create game schedules, reschedule rain-outs
Baseball Chief Umpire train and schedule volunteer umpires, handle questions/issues
Softball Chief Umpire same as above
Tryouts Coordinator
book location, create schedule, recruit/oversee volunteers,
manage data collection
Equipment Coordinator
maintain inventory, order supplies, assemble equipment bags
and distribute to/collect them from managers
Training Coordinator schedule and oversee pre-season training clinics
Head Scorekeeper train volunteer scorekeepers, maintain records, handle questions/issues
Web Administrator maintain RWLL website
Newsletter Editor publish 2-3 newsletters/year
Mariners/Husky Day
Coordinator
distribute information, collect payments, distribute
tickets for Little League events at local sports teams
Concessions Coordinator oversee RWLL interest in Hartman concessions stand
Uniforms Coordinator maintain inventory, order uniforms and supplies
Picture Coordinator contract photographer, coordinate team/individual photo schedule
Safety Officer trains managers on safety issues and procedures
